Hi, I’m Matt Browne and I am a physiotherapist at Defy Sports Performance and Physiotherapy. I have always had a love for hockey from as young as I can remember. I grew up playing for the AAA Cambridge Hawks and have since transitioned to playing hockey recreationally. Now I enjoy helping hockey players get back from an injury and help them improve their performance. 

Looking back on my playing days, I realize there is a lot of information that could be so useful to every minor hockey player. I want every young player to get as much out of the sport as possible. My goal with this page is to provide assessments, screening tools, education for performance and rehabilitation and exercises specific to hockey. This will be helpful for players and coaches alike.
