THE CLASSES
Defy is excited to offer a variety of FREE virtual classes to our clients. Our goal is to help you through the uncertainty of this lockdown, with gyms + extra activities being closed. Each class will target a different goal, whether it is getting your heart rate up with some aerobic activity, increasing your mobility or shaking loose of cooped up tension; we’ve got you covered.
Mobility & Fitness Training
Monday Evenings at 6:30 – 7:30 PM
Feeling stiff from being locked indoors? Need to get some fitness in? One-click and you can join us on screen for 60 minutes of both!
- No equipment needed
- All fitness/training levels welcome
- Mix of bodyweight exercises with minimal rest
- Each week will focus on full-body movements and then switch each week for upper and lower body.
- Modifications are provided for each exercise to make it easier or harder, depending on fitness level.
Intro to Strength and Balance for Older Adults
Saturday Mornings 12:15 – 12:45 PM
This is a great class for older adults who are new to training, or just getting back into the swing of things.
- Starting from the basics, we'll work on balance, hand-eye coordination and strength
- Minimal equipment (you might need some household items)
- Gentle and gradual progressions each week
- Modifications offered to fit varying needs and levels
